We are looking for a committed and caring KS1/2 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive team. This role is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on pupils’ learning and development across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a KS1/2 Teaching Assistant:
* Support class teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
* Work with small groups or individual pupils to help them achieve their learning goals.
* Assist with classroom management and help maintain a positive learning environment.
* Provide additional support to pupils who may need extra help, including those with SEND.
* Prepare and organise classroom resources and displays.
* Supervise pupils during break times, trips, or extra-curricular activities as required.
Ideal KS1/2 Teaching Assistant:
* Previous experience working with primary-aged children is desirable.
* A good understanding of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum is an advantage.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills as a KS1/2 Teaching Assistant.
* A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
