Job Description: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented WordPress & E-Commerce Website Assistant to support the management and development of our WordPress website. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Elementor, WooCommerce, and custom WordPress themes, along with the technical skills to work effectively with databases, APIs, and version control systems. Key Responsibilities: Manage, update, and maintain a WordPress website using Elementor and WooCommerce Work with PHP in custom WordPress themes and plugins Manage and optimise MySQL databases Implement and manage version control using GitHub Use Linux commands and work effectively in the Linux terminal Integrate and manage APIs for website functionality Troubleshoot website issues and ensure optimal performance and security Support e-commerce operations including product management and customer experience Essential Requirements: Strong experience with WordPress, Elementor, and WooCommerce Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Proficient in PHP and comfortable working in custom WordPress themes Familiarity with MySQL databases and database management Experience with GitHub and version control practices Comfortable using Linux commands and working in the terminal Familiarity with working with APIs Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Advantageous (Not Essential): Familiarity with Appsmith Experience with Docker or containerised environments Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript for minor front-end adjustments Understanding of website performance optimisation and SEO Familiarity with website security best practices Company Information Who are we?
