RSK Biocensus, part of RSK Group, is an award-winning CIEEM company recruiting a tenacious and passionate Senior Ecologist to join their growing UK ecology team. This role is permanent, with full-time and part-time work patterns available. It will be a hybrid role, with flexible homeworking and client site work.
We are seeking someone to work with clients in Bristol and surrounding areas. As a Senior Ecologist at RSK Biocensus, you will be involved in field surveys, assessments, tender and report writing, and project management on various nationwide and local projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and oversee medium/large projects and tenders from start to finish.
2. Promote RSK positively to clients and competitors through quality work.
3. Handle project aspects such as finance, resource allocation, subcontractors, risk, quality assurance, timely delivery, and client feedback.
4. Conduct fieldwork, including out-of-hours surveys and travel.
5. Oversee site work and habitat management or creation under supervision.
6. Assist with survey and research report delivery, including document reviews, statistical analyses, licence applications, and reporting.
Person Specification
* First degree in a relevant discipline or vocational qualification.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Species-specific personal licences are desirable.
* Associate membership with CIEEM.
* Adherence to CIEEM’s Code of Professional Conduct.
