Lee House Surgery is a welcoming and well-established GP practice located in the heart of beautiful Windsor. We are looking to recruit a Medical Administrator / Receptionist to join our supportive and friendly team.

Whether you are experienced in NHS General Practice and looking for a change, or new to the role and eager to learn, we would love to hear from you. While experience is preferred, it is not essential — full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Role Summary
The successful candidate will:
* Provide a professional, efficient, and courteous reception service to patients and visitors.
* Offer a prompt and polite telephone service, responding to patient queries and directing calls appropriately.
* Act as a key link between patients and clinical staff, ensuring smooth communication and signposting to appropriate services.
* Manage incoming communications from external providers and non-NHS queries.
* Work closely with GPs and the wider clinical team.
* Maintain accurate records and an effective filing system for patient data and practice documents.
* Handle a range of administrative tasks, including:
* Patient registrations
* Practice emails and eConsults
* Docman and prescription processing
* General reception duties
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
* Be computer literate with previous experience in a reception or administrative role.
* Have a polite and confident telephone manner.
* Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ideally have experience with patient or customer-facing roles, particularly via telephone (desirable but not essential).
* Be willing to undergo a DBS check.
* Be patient-focused, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
