Nursery Practitioner??Job description

Our Catford Green nursery are looking for Nursery Assistants and Nursery Practitioners to work as bank staff covering shifts working on a zero hours contract.

The ideal candidate must have:
* A full & relevant Level 2 qualification or above in Early Years
* Experience working in a nursery
* An interest in working with young children (from 0-5 years)
* Team player
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal
* Ability to use initiative
* A passion for the Early Years

Key Responsibilities
* Building good relationships with the parents
* Reporting any safeguarding concerns to the management team or DSL
* Adhering to Little Elms policies and procedures
* To provide a safe and stimulating environment where children can thrive and to deliver high standards of childcare and education.
* To meet the requirements of the EYFS and Statutory Framework at all times.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Experience of working with children between the age of 3 months – 5 years.
* Experience of working in partnership with parents with the ability to sensitively and professionally handle any difficult/challenging situations. xsngvjr
* A working knowledge of health and safety within a childcare environment, how to risk assess and Little Elms Daycare Nursery
* Take action to reduce potential for accidents/injury.
* An understanding of the EYFS and Statutory Framework
