Overview
You will be responsible for providing on-site technical support and services to clients, ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and repair of various equipment or systems. You will serve as a crucial link between the company and its customers, delivering exceptional service and expertise to maintain customer satisfaction and drive business success.
Key Responsibilities And Activities Include
* On-Site Installation: Install, set up, and configure equipment or systems at customer sites according to specifications and technical requirements.
* Maintenance and Repair: Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues promptly. Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components or parts as necessary to restore equipment functionality.
* Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and guidance to customers regarding equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques. Offer remote support when applicable and ensure effective communication to address customer concerns or inquiries.
* Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards while performing field service activities. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality assurance standards to uphold the highest level of service quality and customer satisfaction.
Education And Experience Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (ideal).
* Proven experience in field service engineering or a similar technical role.
* Skilled in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, or electronic systems, particularly within UPS systems or generators.
* Holds an 18th Edition qualification if lacking direct experience with UPS systems.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective customer interactions.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time efficiently.
* Flexibility to travel frequently and work non-standard hours as needed.
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
