Head of Student Wellbeing and Safeguarding
Salary: £52,607 – £58,767 | Full-time | Senior Leadership Role
At our growing and highly inclusive sixth form college, we pride ourselves on putting students at the heart of everything we do. With a well-deserved reputation for enabling excellence, innovation and compassion, we are seeking a visionary Head of Student Wellbeing and Safeguarding to lead on safeguarding, behavior and attendance, pastoral care, and student support services across the college.
We’ll welcome your energy and strategic vision to shape and lead innovative wellbeing strategies, safeguarding procedures, and support frameworks that transform the student experience.
You’ll join and manage a committed multi-professional team and work alongside a collaborative, forward-thinking Leadership group who share your passion for holistic education. We value fresh thinking so there’s the autonomy to drive improvement, lead on national priorities like Prevent, and build a first-in-class student services model fit for the future.
From influencing policy to supporting individual students through critical moments, your role will truly matter. As the College Designated Safeguarding Lead, you’ll take responsibility for safeguarding and Child Protection across the college ensuring policies and procedures are compliant with national guidance. Some out of hours and/or call out duties will align this responsibility
