Job Duties:
1. Supporting the classroom teacher in implementing creative and engaging lesson plans
2. Assisting with the supervision and educational development of students
3. Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional help
4. Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
5. Preparing materials and resources for lessons
6. Assisting with classroom management and behaviour of students
Required Qualifications:
7. GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths
8. Relevant teaching assistant qualification or experience
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Experience:
Prior experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
10. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
11. Good organisational skills
12. Understanding of child development and learning processes
Preferred Qualifications:
13. Higher-level teaching assistant qualification
14. First aid certification
Working Conditions:
This role involves working within a classroom setting, assisting with students' educational and behavioural needs. The position is full-time and based in Bromley, Greater London.
