Location: Sunrise Nurseries The Old Chapel Royal Standard Place Nottingham NG1 6FS What youll do at work Supporting children through play, care, and learning activities suitable for different ages and stages of development Helping create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for children and families Communicating with parents and carers about childrens needs and progress Observing childrens development and reporting any concerns to your line manager Assisting with maintaining records such as attendance and contact details Working with colleagues and other professionals to support childrens development Attending training sessions, meetings, and completing coursework as part of the apprenticeship Following nursery policies, procedures, and safeguarding guidelines Skills Communication skills Team working Creative Initiative Patience Essential qualifications GCSE or equivalent English Language (Grade 4/C) GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4/C) Desirable Qualifications Early Years Educator Level 2 Previous experience in an early years or nursery setting Other Requirements Must be a UK resident with at least 3 years residency in the UK/EU If you require a visa, it must not expire before the end of the apprenticeship (up to 24 months) Applicants without GCSE Grade 4/C in English and Maths must be willing to complete Level 2 Functional Skills during the programme Progression Opportunities This apprenticeship provides a strong foundation for a career in early years education.
