Curriculum Leader – Modern Foreign Languages (MFL). Full Time – Within the Main Pay Range – Upper Pay Range Plus TLR2B: £5,870 Permanent Contract
This post is covered by the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2018. The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision. Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations. If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2018 Regulations, the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.

* Be experienced with teaching French and or Spanish (ideally both)

Responsibilities
* Responsibility for teaching in assigned curriculum areas
* Raising standards and promoting the vision, ethos, culture and policies of the school and department
* Supporting the clear, cohesive leadership and direction in learning and teaching in the faculty area
* Ensuring that high standards of discipline and respect are evident throughout the faculty, supporting colleagues in line with school policies and practice
* Playing an active part in the monitoring of pupils' behaviour for learning, alongside the Head of Faculty
* Supporting the leadership and teaching and learning across the faculty
* Demonstrating accountability through regular meetings with the Head of Faculty
* Demonstrating measurable impact of the work undertaken in the faculty
* Helping ensure all pupils, across all key stages engage in learning and maximise their potential
* Being involved in enrichment activities such as making a contribution to after-school clubs and visits
