We're looking for a Casual Maintenance & Estate Assistant to join our team at Field Studies Council Millport.

What you’ll be doing
As a Casual Maintenance & Estate Assistant your duties will be varied to include:
* Assisting with repairs, maintenance, and improvements to the centre’s buildings and grounds
* Helping maintain and service plant, equipment, and machinery
* Carrying out Health & Safety monitoring and record keeping
* Supporting external contractors when needed
* Contributing to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors
Our centre is always busy, so we need casual team members who are happy to help wherever required

* Previous experience in general maintenance, grounds work, or trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, or electrics
* Ability to use tools and equipment safely
* Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems
* Flexibility, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Awareness of Health & Safety requirements in a work environment
* A committed and proactive approach to personal development; motivated to learn new skills and overcome new challenges
