Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located near Dalkeith for a Bench Joiner. The Bench Joiner will be responsible for daily tasks such as crafting and assembling sash and case windows using traditional and modern techniques. The role involves using various hand tools and power tools, performing finish carpentry, and ensuring high-quality work on each project. Additionally, the Bench Joiner will collaborate with other team members to maintain a smooth workflow in the workshop.
Qualifications
* Carpentry and Finish Carpentry skills
* Proficiency with Hand Tools and Power Tools
* Experience in Framing
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Knowledge of sustainable and environmentally friendly practices is a plus
* Previous experience in a similar role or relevant certification in carpentry or joinery
