Advance is looking for a Male Support Worker in Hackney, E5, to support customers with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs, or mental health conditions to live the lives they choose. Day-to-Day Activities:
* Assisting with personal care and hygiene (if required)
* Medication administration (if required)
* Supporting with preparing and cooking meals
* Supporting with attending medical appointments
* Supporting social activities
* Supporting independent skills
* Supporting domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry
* Keeping accurate records and updating care plans as required
* Keeping up to date with your training

About the candidate:
You don’t need previous experience in care or support to succeed in this role. What matters are your values, passion, and determination to make a difference in the lives of people with autism or learning disabilities.
If you think a Support Worker role is right for you, you should be:
* Good at working independently and in a team
* Excellent at communicating with people
* Able to complete quality support records
* Able to work every other weekend
* Able to work between 7am and 10:30pm
* Capable of following Support Plans and Risk Assessments and maintaining customer records
* Literate and numerate in English
* Willing to achieve the Care Certificate
