This is an exciting Lead Nurse opportunity within Integrated Medicine, caring for our medical specialties across three hospital sites and in the community.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking Registered Nurse to lead the service, focusing on staff and service development to ensure excellent patient care through evidence-based practice.
You will have expert skills in team leadership and change management, working collaboratively with Commissioners and third-party agencies, and demonstrating excellent partnership working with patients, families, multidisciplinary teams, social services, and managers.
You will be part of the Senior Leadership team for your services and work closely with the Care Group management team.
Main duties include:
1. Acting as the professional advisor on nursing/midwifery, managerial, and operational issues across services.
2. Providing professional leadership for Nursing/Midwifery, setting standards for accessibility, quality, safety, patient experience, infection prevention, and safeguarding.
3. Collaborating with all teams, improving existing services, and leading service transformation activities.

Essential qualifications include a relevant degree, registration as a Nurse, and evidence of ongoing development. Experience at a senior level, strategic leadership, and excellent communication skills are required. Personal qualities include confidence, empathy, innovation, reliability, and flexibility. Ability to travel between sites is essential.
Additional requirements include DBS checks, UK professional registration, and eligibility to work in the UK.
