The Role:
Based in our Manchester office, in Macclesfield, and reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the ideal candidate will be a customer-oriented self-starter capable of contributing to a high-performance team. The hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.
You will provide a key interface with the customer, supporting all aspects of the customer care process for our brand specialties, namely Cardiac Services, Synapse Medical, and M.E.D Surgical.
Working in a team environment, the successful candidate will demonstrate excellent external and internal customer focus throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Meet and exceed customer expectations by providing exceptional customer service and support in a professional, knowledgeable, and timely manner as the first internal point of contact.
2. Proactively respond to and manage customer calls and queries.
3. Process and manage Sales Orders and Stock Transfer Orders accurately and promptly, ensuring customer commitments are met, keeping customers informed on order status, and liaising with procurement on deliveries.
4. Provide customer quotations in a timely and professional manner.
5. Support the Heads of Sales, Business Unit Leaders, and Clinical Sales Specialists in managing key customer accounts.
6. Create sales reports and price listings as needed for the Clinical Sales Team.
7. Contribute to maintaining a fast-paced, positive team environment.
8. Execute core business processes efficiently and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging KPIs.
9. Develop extensive product knowledge to provide accurate and timely information to clients and customers.
10. Ensure high-quality service delivery, with all correspondence handled promptly in line with targets.
11. Manage daily workload effectively, ensuring follow-up on individual cases.
12. Perform additional duties related to various business projects as assigned.
Key Skills & Experience:
1. 2-3 years of experience in a Customer Service role, preferably in a Healthcare environment.
2. Experience working within a medical device or pharmaceutical regulatory environment is advantageous.
3. Strong knowledge of the responsibilities outlined.
4. Exceptional ability to meet and exceed customer expectations.
5. Proven track record of achieving KPIs and targets.
6. Attention to detail and accuracy in work execution.
7. Energetic, initiative-driven, and able to work independently.
8. Experience contributing to high-performance teams.
9. Excellent interpersonal, communication (both written and oral), and telephone skills.
10. Strong organizational and planning abilities.
11. Flexible and adaptable to change and ambiguity.
12. Resourceful in delivering high-quality service.
13. Proficient in administrative and IT skills, including Microsoft Excel; experience with Navision or Microsoft Business Central is a plus.
