Role Overview In this role, you will deliver both practical and theoretical sessions to learners who may have experienced barriers to education. Your guidance will play a vital part in helping students develop essential life skills, improve their confidence, and progress successfully.
What Youll Be Doing
* Deliver accessible, engaging lessons tailored to a range of abilities
* Provide structured and constructive feedback to support learner progress
* Set and review targets, using college tracking systems to monitor achievement
* Promote positive behaviours, attendance and study habits
* Work collaboratively with course teams, learning mentors and support staff
* Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement activities
* Refer learners for specialist support where needed
What Were Looking For
* Experience supporting learners with additional learning needs or vulnerable groups
* Strong organisational and classroom-management skills
* Ability to engage, motivate and inspire learners
* A teaching qualification
* A DBS on the Update Service (essential)
