Salary: DOE

Location: Liverpool/ Hybrid

As a Clinical Negligence Dental Solicitor, you will take ownership of your own caseload, handling claims with autonomy, professionalism, and a proactive, client-focused approach. You will play a key role in delivering positive outcomes for our clients while contributing to the performance and development of the wider team.

Main Responsibilities:

You will be accountable for:

12. Managing your own Dental Clinical Negligence caseload from instruction to resolution.
13. Delivering high-quality support and guidance to colleagues within the team.
14. Contributing to effective case progression strategies that are both client-focused and commercially driven.
15. Supporting the Team Leader/Head of Department in achieving departmental KPIs.
16. Accurate and comprehensive time recording.

You will be responsible for:

17. Strategic case planning in collaboration with the Team Leader and team members.
18. Identifying and progressing cases that are ready for Letter of Claim, settlement, or issue.
19. Coordinating casework and gathering key documentation to progress matters efficiently.
20. Drafting legal documentation including Letters of Claim and instructions to experts and counsel.
21. Negotiating settlements and managing the litigation process where required.
22. Reviewing and overseeing correspondence and legal documents produced by junior team members.
23. Advising the team on complex or technical case issues, with support from leadership as needed

Essential Skills and Experience:

24. Experience in Dental Clinical Negligence
25. Demonstrable experience managing their own clinical negligence caseload.
26. Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills.
27. Strong organisational and time management skills.
28. A high level of commercial awareness within the legal industry.
29. Ability to provide coaching and mentorship to junior colleagues.
30. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Proclaim case management software.
31. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional client care.
32. A flexible and proactive approach, with a passion for achieving the best results.
