About the Role
We’re looking for a highly skilled and creative PR & Media Officer with experience in the music industry to lead and support our publicity campaigns. This role is central to shaping artist narratives, securing high-quality press opportunities, and strengthening our presence across digital, print, and broadcast media.
You’ll work closely with artists, managers, internal teams, and media partners to deliver strong campaign results and maintain a consistent, professional voice across all communications.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop and execute PR strategies for artist campaigns, releases, tours, and events
● Build, maintain, and grow relationships with music journalists, editors, bloggers, influencers, radio, and TV contacts
● Pitch interviews, premieres, reviews, and features to relevant media outlets
● Write and edit press releases, artist bios, media kits, statements, and campaign reports
● Monitor media coverage, compile analytics, and present campaign summaries internally and to clients
● Coordinate media schedules, interviews, appearances, and press days
● Work with marketing and social teams to ensure consistent messaging across platforms
● Manage internal press databases and update media contact lists regularly
● Support on-site media operations at events, showcases, and live performances
What We’re Looking For
● 2+ years’ experience in PR, communications, or media within the music or entertainment industry
● Strong understanding of the music media landscape, including online, print, radio, and broadcast
● Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different platforms
● A strong network of music media contacts is a significant advantage
● Ability to manage multiple campaigns under tight deadlines
● Confident communicator, comfortable working with artists, managers, and stakeholders
● Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented approach to all tasks
● Comfortable attending events and flexible with occasional evenings/weekends
● A genuine passion for music, culture, and artist development
