The Office of the Kent Police and Crime Commissioner (OKPCC) is seeking a highly organised and self- motivated individual to perform the role of Committee and Information Management Officer.
The successful candidate for this exciting role will join an established team in a fast-moving environment.
You will be responsible for designated executive meetings. This will involve your efficient and timely organisation of all associated administrative duties, including the provision of minutes for circulation and the recording and monitoring to completion of all actions. You will also be responsible for providing crucial support in respect of other various key governance roles within the OKPCC. This will involve the pro-active delivery of both statutory and non-statutory work to tight deadlines and the handling of communications from members of the public/official bodies and colleagues.
The starting salary for this role is £25,188.00. The OKPCC offer incremental increases within this salary band, therefore the salary will rise to £29,073.00, in addition to other agreed pay awards.

What we are looking for:
* Educated to A level/equivalent, or able to demonstrate experience in a similar role.
* Computer literate including previous experience with Microsoft products.
* Excellent reading comprehension and written communication skills.
* Good decision-making abilities.
* Ability to prioritise and manage workload.
It would be helpful if you could also evidence:
* Knowledge of Police and Crime Commissioners and their work.
* Awareness of Data Protection and Freedom of Information legislation.
Our location:
The role will offer flexibility in terms of place of work, including the potential to work from home for those who would like to. In the event home working is agreed for you, there will be a requirement to attend the Office two days a week, as agreed with the line manager. The designated OPCC location for this role is Kent Police Headquarters, Sutton Road, Maidstone.
