You will be joining a team that supports people with mild learning disabilities, primarily within our supported living service. Our goal is to empower the individuals you support to have as much control over their lives as possible. This is a responsible, varied, and rewarding role that involves encouraging, guiding, and supporting people to live independently and make their own choices.
On a daily basis, your responsibilities may include:
1. Providing active support
2. Assisting with household chores
3. Supporting individuals with morning and evening routines
4. Personal care
5. Monitoring wellbeing
6. Handling issues as they arise
You should have basic IT skills, as you will need to write support plans and use a computer daily.
