We are seeking to recruit an Administrator to join our Business Rates department.
The Role
To provide effective support to the Rating team by carrying out various administrative duties efficiently and with minimal supervision. This will take the form of general AIMs / Riverlake data maintenance, answering telephone calls & dealing with enquiries, lodging appeals, issuing T&C's /letters/fees and general support for Rating surveyors.
Duties
* Answering incoming telephone calls
* Formation of client files and maintenance thereof
* Contacting assessors/clients on behalf of surveyors
* Ability to lodge appeals with Assessor's offices throughout Scotland
* Issue of Grounds and Comparison via AIMs
* Administration of Riverlake and AIMs systems
* Production of appeals / letters / emails / fees / citations / T&C's
* Establishment of regular reminders for Ground Comparisons
* Assist with production of Rating Newsletter
* Production of key management information on appeals, fees etc.
* Preparation of Financial spreadsheets for clients
* Issue of regular updated Citation list including all relevant statutory dates etc.
* Filing and file retrieval
Skills + Experience
Ideal candidates will have experience working within an office environment, full understanding of Microsoft Suite and the proven ability to work individually as well as part of a team. They will have the ability to prioritise and coordinate tasks efficiently, ensuring deadlines are met with accuracy and attention to detail.
