Join to apply for the Sales Advisor role at The Construction Index Ltd.

There is an exciting opportunity to join Bellway, one of the UK’s largest house builders. Our Thames Valley Division is looking to recruit a Sales Advisor to join the Division’s Sales team. The development is located in Watchmans Place, Dee Road, Reading, RG30 4DA.

Responsibilities

* Carry out all aspects of the day to day running of the site sales complex, ensuring outstanding customer service throughout the customer journey.
* Achieve qualified sales reservations and meet or exceed sales targets; progress reservations through to exchange of contracts and legal completion.
* Maintain the general presentation of the site and sales complex to a high standard.
* Provide full and accurate information to purchasers; guide potential purchasers around show homes, stock plots and site to demonstrate the product.
* Ensure visitors and purchasers are aware of Bellway’s Health and Safety Policy and are accompanied by a Bellway representative.
* Maintain accurate records using Bellway’s in‑house CRM system.
* Liaise with purchasers, solicitors and financial advisers regularly.
* Arrange home demonstrations with the Site Manager and carry out the Company’s handover policy.
* Assist purchasers after legal completion with any defects or customer care issues.
* Attend and minute weekly Sales/Site Meetings with the Site Manager.
* Collaborate with Sales Managers and colleagues to propose ideas to increase sales.


Experience, Qualifications and Training

* Experience of working within a face‑to‑face sales environment.
* Experience as a Sales Advisor for a residential house builder is desirable.
* GCSE Maths and English – Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent).
* Effective negotiation and sales skills; strong administration and IT literacy; good communication and listening skills.

* Ability to work on own as well as part of a team.
* Committed to diversity and inclusion.
* Successful in a flexible working environment; willing to travel to all sales sites including divisional offices.
* Able to work weekends and bank holidays.


The Role and Working Conditions

* Willing to be flexible in respect to day to day duties and hours worked.
* Lone working may be required depending on site.
* Full time contract role with potential for weekend work as required.
