Care Supervisor / Team Leader x (Community Services Care Coordinator) – Corserv Care
We are currently recruiting a Community Services Care Coordinator to lead friendly and professional team of Care & Support Workers. Your job will be:
To effectively lead and manage a staff team of support workers in the geographical area, ensuring staff are well supported and directed in their day-to-day activities. This will include regular care supervision, performance management, appraisals and team meetings.
Rota management for the staff and general administration duties including managing staff and Service user files at the central office.
Identify training and development needs of the staff teams you manage and liaise with the Learning & development team to ensure training is up to date.
Establish excellent interpersonal skills within the team to facilitate the delivery of a high-quality Supported Lifestyles Service at all times.
To monitor risk assessments for individual Service users and implement measures to ensure that identified risks are managed appropriately whilst enabling the individual to live a full and fulfilling life.
To manage, deliver and promote high quality care and support for designated customers within a defined geographical area. To ensure that Service User assessments, care plans and records are up to date and that the best possible opportunities for independence and success are provided. To ensure continuity of care for customers. To provide guidance and support to the team and ensure that team members undertake and participate in appropriate training and supervision.
As a key member of the Corserv Care division this role is instrumental in ensuring the aims and objectives of the organisation and division are met by: providing personalised support to vulnerable adults who live in the community and have identified care & reablement needs. The emphasis being on providing people with safe, responsive, effective, compassionate and high-quality care within their own homes.
The role is also instrumental in maintaining high standards of care through providing first line supervision and support for frontline workers.

Qualifications & Experience
The following qualifications and experience are essential:
1. NVQ Health & Social Care or equivalent.
2. Minimum years in a supervisory role.
3. Evidence of leading a successful team/service.
4. Setting/achieving business and quality targets.
5. Team leadership/development.
6. Product service development IT – Outlook,
7. Word, Excel, Customer Care. Budget/Finance Management.
8. Marketing and promotion.
9. Knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
10. Successfully leading a team through change.
11. Clarity of thought and communication.
12. Desire to succeed.
