Protocol Education is working with a welcoming school in Shrewsbury seeking a committed and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from the start of the new term.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support young learners with a variety of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH, in a nurturing and structured learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs
2. Help students access learning and stay engaged in lessons
3. Assist teachers with behaviour management and classroom routines
4. Promote emotional wellbeing and inclusion throughout the school day
Who we’re looking for:
5. Experience working with SEN pupils in education, care, or youth settings
6. Calm, resilient, and confident working with challenging behaviours
7. Ability to build strong, positive relationships with students and staff
8. Genuine passion for helping pupils succeed and thrive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
