Oracle Cloud HCM Consultant (with Payroll expertise)
Location: Manchester (Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite)

The Role
We are seeking multiple experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Consultant with strong Payroll expertise to support a major transformation programme. The successful candidate will be hands-on across multiple HCM modules (Core HR, Absence, Benefits, Time & Labour), while taking ownership of Payroll delivery to ensure statutory compliance and seamless integration.
This is a delivery-focused role, ideal for someone with multiple end-to-end Oracle Cloud HCM implementations, covering Payroll alongside wider HCM functionality.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support the configuration and implementation of Oracle HCM Cloud modules, with a focus on Payroll.
* Translate business requirements into Oracle best practice solutions across Core HR, Payroll, Absence, Benefits, and Time & Labour.
* Configure Payroll (fast formulas, elements, balances, costing, statutory compliance).
* Support Payroll parallel runs, reconciliation, and HMRC compliance.
* Provide functional support across Core HR, Absence, Benefits, and Time & Labour.
* Conduct workshops and provide guidance to HR and Payroll stakeholders.
* Prepare and execute test scripts (SIT/UAT), support defect resolution.
* Produce documentation (configuration workbooks, training material, process notes).
* Advise stakeholders on risks, opportunities, and best practice across HCM.
Skills & Experience Required
8-12 years' Oracle HCM/Payroll experience (EBS and/or Cloud).
* Minimum 2 full Oracle Cloud HCM implementations including Payroll.
* Strong knowledge of UK Payroll legislation (RTI, pensions, auto-enrolment, HMRC compliance).
* Broad coverage of HCM modules (Core HR, Absence, Benefits, Time & Labour).
* Experience with Payroll integrations (Finance, Benefits, Time & Labour).
* Expertise in Fast Formulas, Elements, Balances, Costing.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
* Proficient with Oracle HCM reporting (OTBI, BI Publisher).
