The Leisure team plays a key role in ensuring families feel confident, safe and happy during their activity, whatever their age or ability. INDOOR ACTIVITIES TEAM LEADER | £14.01 per hour You will assist the Indoor Activities Management team in delivering a safe and quality operation including, but not exclusively: Court and table hire, equipment hire, Entertainment Hive, Gym, Pottery Studio, Leisure Booking Desk, House of Games and Leisure Bowl. New to Whinfell Forest, the Entertainment Hive is a social-competitive space offering a variety of activities such as Puttify, Interactive Darts, Interactive Shuffleboard and Escape the Forest. In this role, you will deliver a great guest experience by hosting activity sessions with enthusiasm, engagement and professionalism. You will deputise in the absence of an Assistant Manager as deemed necessary for the business. You will assist in maintaining a high standard of guest care, set high standards in building management and motivate and develop team members. You will also take responsibility for driving and developing demand and further opportunities to enhance the commercial management. Other duties include: Taking responsibility for staff and product development and the recording of staff hours, holidays and sickness Maintaining the highest standard of guest care, building standards and cleanliness in line with company procedures Day to day supervision of staff ensuring the smooth running of all facilities Dealing with guest queries and complaints when they arise as highlighted on the guest’s questionnaires, comment forms and letters Developing and managing demand and capacity during School peak / off peak programmes HOURS OF WORK You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. Shifts fall between 8.30am and 11.30pm, including weekends. As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.
