The Key Medical Practice is a 12500‑patient surgery sitting at the heart of its community in Kidlington, providing accessible, high‑quality primary care to the patients and families who depend on it whilst also being a warm and friendly place to work.
High‑quality support is given to ensure plenty of time to focus on clinical work and professional development.
* Work plan: 13 x 15‑minute routine appointments per morning session and 12 x 15‑minute routine appointments per afternoon session.
* Locally provided Home Visiting service. Less than 1 visit per week typically.
* 6 weeks annual leave / 1 week study leave pro rata.
* Extra annual leave well‑being day.
* Branch Surgery in Yarnton (1.7 miles away).
* Our surgery hours are 08:30 – 18:30.
* In‑house educational program. Alternating weekly clinical and GP meetings.
* No out of hours or weekend commitments.
* Daily debrief over coffee for all clinicians.
* We are a training practice.
* Full multidisciplinary team (Nursing team, Pharmacists, AHPs, Physios).

Main duties of the job
The Person:
* We are looking to appoint an experienced GP who is motivated, independent, and interested in providing high‑quality clinical services to a varied population.
* The successful applicant will be expected to work flexibly across the two sites and, upon agreement, may include some weekend hours as part of their pattern of work.
* The Practice has a high‑achieving QOF track record and is closely involved in local GP‑led commissioning, with mostly paperless administration; our main practice system is EMIS Web, and our GPs also work regularly with Docman.
Benefits and conditions
Salary: £10,925 to £11,845 a session depending on experience
