Are you an experienced and motivated leader in diagnostic imaging? We're seeking a Diagnostic Radiology Manager to head our Imaging Department and drive excellence in patient care. The Role
As Radiology Manager, you will:
* Lead and manage the radiology team to deliver safe, effective, and high-quality imaging services
* Ensure compliance with Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations (IR(ME)R) and all clinical governance standards
* Drive service improvement initiatives, including audits, quality assurance, and policy development
* Oversee departmental budgets and resources, ensuring cost-efficiency and alignment with hospital business plans
* Provide strong leadership, coaching, and support to the team, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment
* Maintain patient safety and excellent standards of care, ensuring informed consent and promoting equality and diversity
* Act as an ambassador for Spire Healthcare, communicating effectively with patients, colleagues, and senior management
Who we're looking for:
* HCPC registered Radiographer with significant experience in diagnostic imaging.
* BSc Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
* Proven leadership and management experience within a radiology setting
* Strong knowledge of IR(ME)R and clinical governance requirements
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
* A passion for quality improvement and patient-centred care
* Experience in RIS/PACS and IEP systems management
* Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
* Passion to deliver high quality diagnostic services
* MRI experience would be preferable
