Role:Children’s Residential Senior Support Worker
Pay Rate:£16.15 per hour

Location:Birmingham (B66)
Working Pattern:3-week rolling rota (Days & Nights)
What this role involves
You will support children aged 7–17 with a range of complex needs, including emotional and behavioural challenges, trauma backgrounds and additional support requirements. Alongside providing direct care, you will help maintain high standards within the home and ensure the service runs smoothly.
* Provide day-to-day care, emotional support and guidance
* Promote routines, boundaries and positive behaviour
* Support children with education, activities and daily living skills
* Lead by example and support junior staff
* Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures
* Contribute to care plans and help children work towards their goals
* Ensure the home remains safe, structured and child-centred
No two days are the same — this is a dynamic, high-energy role where you’ll make a real difference.
Working pattern
This service operates 24/7.
You will work a3-week rolling rota, including days and nights.
