About the Role
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a proactive and organised Service Coordinator to join their engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling and supporting service engineers, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You’ll play a key part in maintaining smooth operations, from managing reports to coordinating vehicles, equipment, and site access.
Key Responsibilities

Schedule service engineers’ workload and manage job planning.
*
Prepare and write reports.
*
Oversee site access, including risk and method statements.
*
Manage works vehicles and coordinate maintenance.
*
Order and track service parts to align with scheduled jobs.
*
Ensure parts are issued correctly.
*
Arrange training and monitor renewal of skill cards.
*
Order hire equipment for site work.
*
Carry out site investigations on reported issues.
What We’re Looking For
*
A time-served engineer with broad engineering knowledge.
*
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and customers.
*
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
*
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and stay calm under pressure.
*
A positive attitude with a focus on customer service.
*
Full, clean driving licence required.
