Facilities Manager Role Overview
A unique opportunity has arisen for a hands-on Facilities Manager to join our property portfolio, overseeing multiple industrial, commercial, and retail sites across Yorkshire.
* Manage daily FM operations across various locations.
* Oversee contractor management, ensuring high performance standards are met.
* Take ownership of service charge budgets, planning, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
* Ensure full compliance with health and safety laws and regulations, including audits and assessments.
* Conduct regular site visits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
* Build strong relationships with tenants and stakeholders, fostering a positive working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily FM operations across multiple sites.
2. Manage and monitor contractors to ensure high performance.
3. Take ownership of service charge budgets – plan, forecast, and control.
4. Ensure full compliance with H&S laws and regulations (including audits & assessments).
5. Conduct regular site visits and inspections.
6. Build strong relationships with tenants and stakeholders.
You'll Be a Great Fit If You Have:
* Solid experience in multi-site Facilities Management.
* Confidence handling service charge budgets and compliance.
* A reliable, proactive, and trustworthy attitude.
* IOSH ESSENTIAL.
* NEBOSH certification (desirable).
* A full UK driving licence - ESSENTIAL.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
