Charnwood Borough Council in Leicestershire is searching for the latest members of the Landlord Services Team. We are looking for three passionate individuals who are customer focused, team players and want to help improve our local communities in Charnwood.
Our ideal candidates will have excellent organisational skills, be computer literate, and work well within a team of like‑minded individuals. The role will participate in the out‑of‑hours call‑out service. A full driving licence is essential, and a van is supplied for Council business use only. Power tools and uniform are provided.
Responsibilities
* Maintain electrical systems within council properties, including domestic electrical works and responsive repairs to current systems.
* Install new circuits and accessories.
* Test and inspect electrical systems.
* Work with other trades to manage and complete works to a high standard.
* Serve tenanted and void properties across the Charnwood area as part of the Council's Landlord Services Section.
* Participate in the out‑of‑hours call‑out service.
Essential Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation work
* Approved Electrician certification or equivalent
* City & Guilds 2391‑52 Inspection & Testing or equivalent
