You will be joining our Letchworth Distribution Centre which consists of warehouse, customer services, purchasing and sales teams. Our distribution centres play a huge part in the business growth strategy through offering first class expertise to help its customer base reduce their total packaging costs.
Standard working hours are 08:00am-17:00pm Monday-Friday however can be expected to start as early as 6:00am when required.
The role of Warehouse Operative
Duties Will Specifically Cover The Following Areas
* Picking sales orders accurately ensuring targets are met
* Use of barcode scanning handheld devices to record goods in, picking and product movements
* Assisting with additional dispatch, goods in and loading tasks
* Wrap, secure and accurately label finished goods
* Loading vehicles with finished product
* General daily checks and housekeeping duties
* Assisting with stock takes if required
Key Skills And Operational Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following:
* Competent on Reach forklifts
* First Aid and Fire Marshall experience desirable but not essential
* Great eye for detail
* Passion and self-motivated
* Class 1 or 2 licence is desirable but not essential
