Duties
* Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food production.
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
* Coordinate with suppliers for fresh ingredients and manage inventory effectively.
* Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols.
* Help create an inspiring environment that fosters teamwork and creativity among kitchen personnel.
* Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Assist in managing kitchen operations during peak hours, ensuring timely service.
Experience
* Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential.
* Strong culinary skills with a solid understanding of various cooking techniques.
* Experience in team management, with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a kitchen environment.
