An experienced Architectural Technologist / Technician is required to join a national AJ100 multidisciplinary architectural practice located at their Head Office in Wakefield.

Working with a strong portfolio of national developers, main contractors and end users, the practice delivers projects across the UK from initial concept through to completion.
The Role – Architectural Technologist / Technician
This opportunity is ideally suited to an experienced Architectural Technologist or Technician with circa 5–10 years’ industry experience who is looking to take the next step within a highly respected architectural practice.
You will play a key role in the technical design and delivery of projects across a wide range of commercial sectors, working closely with senior technologists, architects, consultants and contractors throughout all RIBA work stages.
The successful candidate will have strong technical ability, proven Revit/BIM experience, and confidence coordinating projects through detailed design and construction phases.
Key Responsibilities
Produce detailed technical drawing packages and construction information
Lead and coordinate technical design work across multiple project stages
Develop and manage Revit/BIM models and technical documentation
Liaise closely with architects, consultants, contractors and clients
Ensure projects comply with UK Building Regulations and technical standards
Attend and contribute to project and design team meetings
Assist with site inspections, technical queries and construction-stage coordination
Support junior team members where required
Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required
Approximately 5–10 years’ experience within an architectural practice
Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
Strong working knowledge of Revit/BIM software
Good understanding of UK Building Regulations, technical detailing and construction methods
Experience delivering projects within commercial sectors would be advantageous
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite is desirable
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams

Salary & Benefits
