Supply Planner – UK (Pharmaceuticals)
I’m partnering with a leading global pharmaceutical organisation to recruit a proactive Supply Planner for their UK operations team. This role ensures the smooth flow of products into the UK market, maintaining optimal inventory levels and strong service performance. (Approx. 10–20% travel.)
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate product replenishment from global sites into UK logistics providers.
* Maintain inventory levels across multiple locations, ensuring effective stock rotation.
* Manage direct-to-pharmacy order fulfilment and resolve delivery issues.
* Track service levels, analyse root causes, and drive corrective actions.
* Report key supply chain KPIs and recommend process improvements.
Key Requirements
* 3+ years’ experience in supply chain planning (pharma, FMCG, or similar).
* Solid knowledge of inventory, replenishment, and fulfilment processes.
* Strong Excel and ERP skills.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving ability.
* Collaborative team player.
* Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
* Experience with SAP, PowerBI/Tableau, or automation tools.
* Background in 3PL/distributor management.
* Understanding of UK GDP regulations.
