What you’ll be doing: Lead and plan business process improvement projects, including designing, re-engineering, launching, and embedding efficient business processes within the organization. This role involves gathering and analyzing data to support business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements You Will Be Required To Cross-functional Improvement Initiatives: Deliver a portfolio of initiatives to enhance efficiency through process change, analyzing existing processes, identifying weaknesses, creating solutions, and implementing company-wide changes. Complex Process Improvement Projects: Lead projects, define BPM activity and scope, identify process goals, list end-to-end processes, agree on project outcomes, implementation approach, and develop business cases. Process Modelling: Create process models in MS Visio using BPMN 2.0, and underlying process documentation Quick Wins and Process Improvements: Identify and prioritize quick wins and opportunities for process improvement and take them through to resolution. Data Gathering and Analysis: Gather and process data to identify process performance areas, resulting in strategies that meet business needs. Metrics and Dashboards: Work with process owners to create metrics and dashboards for monitoring process capability. Benefit Realization: Work with stakeholders to identify and deliver measurable benefits from improvement initiatives, producing detailed benefits realization plans and delivering against clear targets. Prioritization and Planning: Prioritize, plan, and propose key improvement areas. Team Mentoring and Coaching: Mentor and coach junior team members, including holding 1:1s, and supporting colleague performance and development. What you’ll need to have: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Knowledge of BPMN 2.0 and skills in process modelling, process levels (1-5), and process classification frameworks. Significant experience in business process management, process improvements, and project management with proven benefits; and experience in creating end-to-end processes Proven ability to analyse, identify, and introduce process changes while coaching and evangelizing the benefits of change. Data-driven approach to baseline process capability and produce dashboards for process monitoring; process mining experience is desirable. Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful conclusions. Experience in leading root cause analysis and deriving agreed solutions. Stakeholder collaboration skills to understand the voice of the customer and derive Critical to Quality (CTQ) and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) metrics. Workshop facilitation skills for process mapping, root cause analysis (RCA), and solution generation. Previous experience in retail and large process transformations, preferably within branch-level and back-office IT processes across critical IT functions such as POS systems, supply chain platforms, ERP, and customer service tools.
