Nights, 44 hours per week available, working weekends on rota.
About the role
Pemberley Manor Care Home situated in Orpington is a warm & friendly nursing home. Our dedicated team led by the Manager offers round‑the‑clock support, making life comfortable and enjoyable for the residents.
Responsibilities
* Aiding residents' emotional well‑being and social needs
* Administration and monitoring of medications to residents
* Supporting residents at meals time
* Mentor & assist new employees
* Implement, monitor and review care plans to meet residents' specific needs
* Plan, allocate & supervise the work of the team of care assistants
About You
* Experience as a Senior Care Assistant & leading a team
* Be no stranger to working night shifts
* Have a friendly & caring attitude
* Able to engage well with the residents and their families
* Have an understanding of people with Dementia
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social care or willing to work towards this
* Great communication skills, both written & verbal
