Business Analyst – Payroll Transformation (Dayforce)
Largely remote, with occasional UK travel for workshops
6-month contract (initial)
We’re supporting a major UK household name through a large-scale payroll transformation programme, to Dayforce for a population of thousands of employees. This is a high-visibility project with strong executive support.
They’re looking for a Business Analy st with proven experience in complex HR or payroll system transformations. You’ll play a key role in capturing current processes, aligning stakeholders, and helping shape the future state design.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Engagement
* Work closely with HR, Payroll, IT, and senior stakeholders to gather and clarify business requirements
* Support and facilitate workshops across business units to align on ways of work ing
Process & Requirements Analysis
* Document “as-is” payroll processes and help define the “to-be” future state aligned to Dayforce capabilities
* Identify process gaps, risks, and opportunities for standardisation across the organisation
* Ensure clear, complete documentation of requirements and business ru les
Collaboration & Delivery
* Liaise with technical teams, vendors, and implementation partners to ensure accurate translation of business needs into functional specs
* Contribute to UAT planning and support stakeholder sign-off
About You
* Strong experience as a Business Analyst on HR/payroll system change programmes (Oracle, Dayforce, SAP, etc
* Excellent stakeholder management skills across HR, Finance, IT, and Operations
* Confident facilitating workshops and driving clarity in complex environments
* Comfortable working independently in a remote-first setup, with occasional UK travel
* Experience with Dayforce is a significant plus
* Familiarity with large-scale organisations
* Available to start at short notice
