Job Description: HVAC Prototype Build Technician – Product Development

Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. (ACT) develops and manufactures advanced cooling solutions for aerospace, military, commercial, and government markets. Our products include heat pipes, pumped liquid cooling, and thermal storage devices, used in cutting-edge technologies where existing solutions are insufficient.
Due to rapid growth, we have an immediate opening for a full-time Prototype Build Technician in York to support design, machining, assembly, and testing of engineering projects. Position Summary: The Prototype Build Technician will assemble and troubleshoot prototypes, collaborating with Engineering to meet customer requirements and optimize assembly sequences for future production. The role involves standing for long periods, lifting, and handling materials safely and efficiently.

Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED
* Technical school certificate or 3+ years related experience
* Must be a US Person due to ITAR restrictions
* Adherence to safety standards
* Ability to read calipers/tape measures
* Proficiency with mechanical tools (saws, drills, power tools)
* Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and schematics
* Detail-oriented and committed to quality
* Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
* Hands-on fabrication and troubleshooting skills
* Problem-solving abilities in manufacturing
Highly Desirable:
* Experience with industrial HVAC equipment
* Knowledge of refrigeration concepts
* EPA Section 608 Certification (Level 1 & 2)
* Welding and brazing certifications
* CAD/Solidworks skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
