Job Responsibilities The successful candidate will be expected to perform the full range of duties associated with a General Practitioner in Primary Care, with a focus on clinical excellence, collaborative working, and medical education.
Clinical Care & Patient Management
Conduct comprehensive physical and psychological assessments to address a wide range of presenting problems.
Deliver high‑quality consultations through various modalities, including face‑to‑face appointments, telephone triage, home visits, and eConsultations.
Manage acute and chronic conditions, ensuring all care is evidence‑based and aligned with current clinical protocols.
Proactively screen for risk factors and early signs of illness, developing personalised care plans for long‑term condition management.
Administrative & Operational Excellence
Maintain accurate, detailed, and contemporaneous clinical records in line with professional standards.
Efficiently manage administrative workflow, including the timely processing of correspondence, medical queries, and pathology results.
Oversee prescribing tasks, including issuing acute and repeat prescriptions in accordance with the practice formulary.
Contribute to the development and refinement of clinical systems to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
