Join Sodexo and be part of something greater—where you can act with purpose and thrive in your own way!What You'll Do:Carry out routine cleaning tasks at the scheduled time, following all relevant policies, procedures and COSHH requirements.Will involve some deep cleaning and also ability to work alone to a high standardMaintain high standards of cleanliness across communal areas, classrooms, offices, toilets, changing rooms and specialist spaces.Empty bins, collect and move refuse, and restock consumables such as soap, paper towels and toilet tissue.Use only approved cleaning products, equipment and materials safely and efficiently, in line with training provided.Undertake cleaning duties safely, using PPE and hazard signage where appropriate.Clean floors, furnishings, equipment, windows and mirrors to the required standard.Respond to ad‑hoc cleaning requests on site when required.Be courteous, helpful and efficient, ensuring excellent customer care for staff, pupils and visitors.Work collaboratively with other cleaning staff to maintain consistent standards across the school.Take reasonable steps to minimise loss or damage to property and maintain a safe working environment.What You Bring:Previous experience in a similar cleaning role, with knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, COSHH and safe working practices.Able to work alone and to a high standard including some deep cleaning.Strong communication and customer service skills, with a polite and professional manner.The ability to work efficiently, manage your time and adapt to changing priorities or requests throughout the day.A team‑focused attitude, collaborating with colleagues to maintain high standards across the school.Reliability, flexibility and pride in delivering a clean, safe and welcoming environment for staff, pupils and visitors.What We Offer:Working with Sodexo isn't just another job but a chance to be part of something that matters.Here, you're welcomed for who you are, encouraged to bring your ideas and purpose to the table, and given the opportunity to make a real difference in the work you do every day.
