Band 3 Procurement Officer
Location: Armagh
Pay Rate: £12.31 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Job Summary
We are seeking a Band 3 Procurement Officer to join our team and assist in delivering a value-for-money procurement service. This role focuses on operational procurement, ensuring compliance with regulations and ISO procedures while meeting Service Level Agreement and Business Plan objectives.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Purchase goods and services in line with client procedures to achieve best value.
2. Provide advice and assistance to customers on procurement matters.
3. Operate PC systems and software to support procurement processes.
4. Resolve invoice queries to ensure timely supplier payments.
5. Respond to supplier queries promptly and professionally.
6. Liaise with colleagues across sites on procurement-related matters, including participation in groups if required.
7. Carry out any other duties within the scope of the Band 3 role.
Essential Criteria
8. Education: Five GCSEs (Grades A*–C) including English Language and Maths OR equivalent qualification demonstrating literacy and numeracy OR a higher qualification.
OR 18 months’ relevant work-based experience in a general commercial/business environment (including clerical and/or administrative work).
9. Skills: Experience using Windows-based software (Outlook, Word, Excel).
