Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious Teaching Assistant to join a SEN Primary School in Sheffield. You’ll be part of a supportive school community, working with an experienced team of Teachers and Teaching Assistants. The school provides education for children with Autism, Communication and Learning difficulties - with some students presenting with social and emotional difficulties. Your main role will be to work 1:1 with students whilst continuing to support the Class Teacher, helping the pupils to succeed both academically and socially in the classroom. * This is an exciting role for a new or experienced Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic school where ‘pupils come first’ and are taught and cared for as individuals. What You’ll Be Doing in the Role: * Support the inclusion and wellbeing of all pupils in the classroom. * Provide 1:1 support for pupils including personal care. * Run fun and engaging catch-up or small group sessions when needed. * Create a warm and positive learning space for all children.
