How you will make an impact
The Domestic Services team manages the cleaning of each Cabrini facility to ensure our premises remain safe and appealing. Our Domestic Services Assistants (Cleaners) are a key member of our team and the main responsibilities of the role include:
1. Cleaning and servicing patient rooms and associated areas
2. Ensuring all equipment is cleaned
3. Using all equipment in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to relevant policies, procedures, and protocols
4. Working with other hospital team members to optimise the safety, care, and overall experience of our patients
Ideally, applicants will have flexibility to work a range of shifts throughout the week with availability across morning, afternoon and night shifts (as well as occasional weekends between 6:30AM-3PM) and ability to work at other Cabrini locations where required.
About you
This role will suit an experienced cleaner with experience gained in a domestic or commercial environment. You will also:
5. Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer/patient service
6. Display strong attention to detail and a flexible approach to work with a great work ethic
7. Be an effective team player, with the ability to build positive professional relationships with colleagues
8. Be self-motivated and reliable with excellent personal presentation
9. Have well-developed communication skills including proficiency in written and spoken English
