Our client, a globally recognised fashion and lifestyle retailer, is seeking an experienced Senior Buyer (Wholesale) to join their team on a temporary basis. This role is based at their London head office, offering a hybrid working model.

The Role
As Senior Buyer (Wholesale), you will take ownership of the wholesale buying strategy across multiple categories, ensuring product assortments are commercially successful and aligned to global market needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end buying process for wholesale channels
* Develop and implement seasonal product strategies aligned with brand and commercial objectives
* Build and maintain strong relationships with global wholesale partners and suppliers
* Analyse sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to inform trading decisions
* Manage OTB (Open to Buy), forecasting, and inventory levels to maximise performance
* Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, design, and supply chain teams
* Provide guidance and support to junior team members where required
About You
* Proven experience operating at Senior Buyer level within fashion or lifestyle retail
* Strong wholesale experience is essential
* Highly commercial, with a track record of delivering growth in sales and margin
* Confident working with data, reporting, and performance analysis
* Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills
* Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
