As a Surgical First Assistant, you will: Assist the surgical team by preparing instruments, maintaining sterility, and ensuring equipment safety. Support the Anaesthetist in equipment preparation and patient monitoring. Provide post-operative care, including monitoring vital signs and managing pain. Adhere to infection prevention and control policies. Set up operating theatres according to surgery type and patient needs. Check and report any faults in surgical and anaesthetic equipment.
