About the Role:
On-account Role: EMEA Commercial Lead
Reports To: EMEA PjM Director
Location: London
Position Purpose
As a CBRE/T&T Sr. Commercial Manager, you will lead the commercial relationship with an existing client (on-account) and manage a team responsible for capital project planning and commercial management across all EMEA projects. You will support the EMEA PJM/PMO team in managing and reporting on the commercial performance of projects, leading capital planning, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
1. Lead a commercial team within a client environment, focusing on flawless project delivery and supporting client teams in their daily requirements.
2. Manage the team of Commercial Managers and external support for cost and commercial delivery.
3. Provide strategic commercial and procurement advice to Morgan Stanley stakeholders.
4. Support reporting on the monthly commercial performance of projects with the PjM team.
5. Compile financial and project data from various sources.
6. Assist in annual capital planning for the UK and global teams.
7. Track changes and support monthly project reporting.
8. Coordinate data inputs and ensure data integrity across systems.
9. Review project budgets and estimates for accuracy.
10. Support data quality and excellence initiatives.
11. Ensure compliance with GSA and CBRE guidelines.
12. Maintain up-to-date market rates through networking with EMEA commercial teams.
13. Build and maintain a benchmarking database for estimating tools.
14. Improve existing methods, processes, and standards.
15. Perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed.
What You’ll Need:
1. Proven strategic leadership in managing diverse commercial teams.
2. Extensive experience in client interactions and leadership with strong interpersonal skills.
3. Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
4. Member of RICS (MRICS).
5. At least 10 years of experience in leading complex commercial or cost management teams.
6. Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
7. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
8. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English.
9. Proven customer service excellence.
10. Ability to engage stakeholders and establish credibility.
11. Willingness to work in a diverse team environment.
12. Strategic thinking with a results-oriented approach.
13. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
