As an inclusive, forward-thinking business, we take pride in our approach to investing in our people and products across Avara Foods. We are seeking a highly competent and motivated Training Administrator to join our HR Team at our Telford site.
The role is primarily office-based, with occasional entry into the factory environment, which is fast-paced, noisy, and refrigerated in some areas.
The Training Administrator will work Monday to Friday 08.00-16.30, with potential occasional weekend work and night shift flexibility. The main purpose is to maintain accurate training documentation for all employees across the Midlands sites and to support the Training Function administratively.
Main Responsibilities:
* Maintain training records using relevant systems.
* Coordinate and renew mandated operational licenses, including First Aiders, Fire Marshals, Mental Health, and raise purchase orders as needed.
* Distribute training materials and support the organization of site-delivered training sessions.
* Monitor and purchase licenses for Food Safety to ensure compliance.
* Assist in setting up the annual training plan to ensure ongoing compliance.
* Produce monthly KPIs on training compliance, focusing on offline training.
* Review feedback from training sessions and collaborate with Line Managers and HR to implement improvements.
* Evaluate training effectiveness through surveys, interviews, and observations to inform future training strategies.
* Manage skills training with external providers as required.
General Responsibilities:
* Handle confidential information appropriately.

* Adhere to all company policies, health and safety standards, and food safety regulations.
* Support biosecurity measures to protect bird health and food safety.
* Identify and support the training and development needs of subordinate staff.
* Maintain service level agreements and participate in shift/rota duties as necessary.
* Perform other duties within the scope of the role as assigned.
