The Role
We are seeking a senior, results-driven sales leader to drivegrowth across Automation and Products & Equipment (P&E). You will lead a team of 10+, own the full sales lifecycle, and deliver large, complex projects while building a strong, sustainable pipeline aligned to regional strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team
* Deliver order intake, revenue and margin targets
* Own the bid/no-bid process and full sales lifecycle
* Build strategic key accounts and drive new business opportunities
* Maintain a robust pipeline of high-value opportunities
* Recruit, develop and performance-manage top talent
* Ensure strong sales governance, forecasting and reporting
Must-Have Requirements
* Proven leadership experience in a regional/national sales role (team size 10+)
* Intralogistics experience at a similar scale and complexity (current or within the last 5 years)
* Demonstrated success in selling complex projects £35m+ (ideally £75m+) within the last 3 years
* Strong track record of building, developing and leading high-performing teams
* Experience managing the full lifecycle of complex, solution-based sales
* Commercially astute with strong focus on revenue, margin and risk management
* Highly driven with ambition to progress into future leadership roles
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
* Degree-level qualification
* Strong intralogistics/automation industry experience
* Confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels
* Strategic and analytical mindset
* Ability to deliver results within defined timescales
* Strong financial awareness of project performance
* Solid understanding of automation technologies and their application across industries
* Previous line management experience
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce)
* Full UK driving licence required (company car provided)
